By now many of you have heard that Angel Hair Yarn Co. is for sale. Andrea and I have decided that to move AHYC into its next phase, new ownership must take place. This change will bring fresh ideas , new activities and events, and a different selection of products - all of which means you are going to love the shop even more!
What this definitely doesn't mean is that we're dead! We welcome your business, your projects and your company - so come on over and bring your knitting/crocheting! Christmas Stockings
Need a Christmas stocking knit for this season? We are still sending items to be repaired or knit to our finisher Christina, who now lives on the West Coast. Deadline is November 1, and price varies depending on the pattern, kit and yarn used.
New Yarns and More Arriving Soon! By the time this newsletter hits your email, we will have received new colors of Jitterbug sock/shawl yarn and AbFab afghan kits from Colinette. There are now three types of AbFab, two of which contain little to NO wool.

more Desert, (a thick-n-thin worsted weight multicolored wool) since it sold so well last winter, LaGran (classic mohair), Miracle (alpaca/ tencel blend) and the new Minnow Wool, a completely machine wash- and dryable worsted.
Already in stock are new KA circular needles with swivel joins and a great price point, as well as upscale faux leather needle cases and corduroy messenger bags from Namaste. We have Frabjous Fibers' Handspun Silk, vibrant gsolidh colors similar to the Himalaya Silk, as well as their Luscious cotton/nylon solid sock yarns.
We also have Manos del Uruguay in stock again after a year or two on hiatus. Tahki has sent us their fall pattern books, and we hope to receive some yarn from them in the next month or so.
BREAKING NEWS:
We have received a number of copies of the new Mason-Dixon knitting book and Ann Shayne, one of the authors who just happens to live down the road a piece from AHYC, said she would bring bookplates signed by both authors to put in our copies. Whoohoo! So get your signed copy now cor else!
